Limor Steel

The Limor family’s relationship with steel began more than 80 years ago.

Our grandfather, Irvin Limor, survived the Holocaust using his skill in metalwork. Upon liberation, he rebuilt his life through sculpture and founded
Artistic Ironworks in 1960. He spent 30 years creating intricate steel pieces inspired by Torah stories and Jewish history, turning metal into expressions of memory and identity.

His son, Alex, apprenticed under him and eventually founded
Limor Steel in 1984.  For more than forty years the shop has been known for its craftsmanship in structural steel, staircases, railings, sculptures and architectural metalwork throughout Nashville and beyond.

Today, Alex's five sons carry the legacy forward through
Limor Steel – Legacy Ironworks, creating handcrafted menorahs and modern Judaica designed to become family heirlooms.

Even Irvin's great-grandchildren get their hands dirty, making
Limor Steel – Legacy Ironworks a true four-generation family workshop.
